Description:

Get an inside look into the exciting world of Anime & Manga cartoon art and design in this awesome online teen class. Learn the essentials of capturing facial features & anatomy within the Manga, Anime tradition, design unique characters- Human, Animal or Fantasy subjects and put them in dynamic poses and action. Lessons on figure drawing & proportion will be included in one or more of the various styles: Shonen, Seinen, Shojo, Josei or Kodomomuke. Create a Character Chart - with color palette for Skin/Hair/Eyes/Clothing, shading techniques in color for all Manga pens. Demos will be provided by you Manga Instructor in shading with manga markers & inking. The course will end with a critique on each student’s work guaranteed to charge you up for future artistic endeavors. Returning students are welcome and will be accommodated & techniques polished.

Select a single day as a Trial Class. Please keep in mind if you are signing up for a single class, it is not possible to learn this skill in one two-hour sitting, or complete a painting so please manage your expectations.

Once we receive your booking you will receive a LINK TO JOIN your class. We suggest preparing for class 5-10 minutes early to ensure you're able to set up your device properly & check your connection.

All classes start & end as advertised.

We will lock all meetings 15 minutes after start time, if you have not joined by that time, you will not be able to enter the class and will not be eligible to reschedule your class. We are sorry but we have to be strict about this. Because of the nature of online teaching, late students totally disrupt the whole class flow & experience for others.

If you're signing up for one single class, please note this will ONLY serve as an introductory class to the media, for those more serious about their art we recommend signing up for a full class course.

This is an ONLINE CLASS that meets via Zoom but is also available in person in studio
