Description:

Contemporary artists and illustrators have always strived to showcase the beauty of flowers, throughout history botanical art and illustration was very popular. In this class, explore nature’s power through the beautiful technique of Watercolor Painting- this medium lends itself beautifully to capturing line and form and the lucidity of natural flora. Learn how to achieve proportion and create dynamic commotion with light lucidity and color, capture realistic details in a series of exercises, starting with sketching buds, petals, leaves and stalk shapes before moving on to fully realized stunning paintings of flowers, trees and all your favorite plant life. Students can work from still life or pictures or photographs to capture their natural subjects.

Select a single day as a Trial Class. Please keep in mind if you are signing up for a single class, it is not possible to learn this skill in one two-hour sitting, or complete a painting so please manage your expectations.

Once we receive your booking you will receive a LINK TO JOIN your class. We suggest preparing for class 5-10 minutes early to ensure you're able to set up your device properly & check your connection.

All classes start & end as advertised.

We will lock all meetings 15 minutes after start time, if you have not joined by that time, you will not be able to enter the class and will not be eligible to reschedule your class. We are sorry but we have to be strict about this. Because of the nature of online teaching, late students totally disrupt the whole class flow & experience for others.

If you're signing up for one single class, please note this will ONLY serve as an introductory class to the media, for those more serious about their art we recommend signing up for a full class course.
