Week 2: Lighting: Reflected Light (golden hour, shade, natural reflectors)
Week 3: Composition: Bold and Experimental Perspectives
Week 4: Lighting: Direct light (backlight, harsh light and shadows)
What equipment do I need to succeed in this course?
You’ll want a basic DSLR or Mirrorless Camera. Anything that allows for manual exposure and interchangeable lenses. If you want to practice the editing demos, you’ll want to download Adobe Lightroom Classic for $10/month. You can cancel at any time.
Do I need any prior experience?
Yes. You should already have a basic ability to use your DSLR or Mirrorless camera with manual exposure. If you don’t already have that foundation, I also offer a fundamentals course! This course will really push you to think outside the box and start getting creative and experimental.
How much time should I spend on the material?
Our weekly meetings are about an hour. I suggest spending 3-5 hours per week practicing the lessons and working on the assignments.
