Designed for painters who have had some experience with watercolor but would like to increase their confidence in using the medium and designing their own artworks. This course will go beyond painting basics to introduce more sophisticated concepts of paint application, design, and content. Lessons will include problem challenges for students, demonstrations, and presentations of the range of possible solutions. Students will be encouraged to experiment and will receive personalized feedback. At the end of the course, the student will have some new paintings and additional confidence about their approach to painting. This course changes each time it is offered and is tailored to the specific students who are enrolled so it can be repeated.
