This course is available for “remote” learning and to anyone with access to an Internet device with a camera and microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with Mukti Banerjee, renowned chef and cooking teacher as the “Live” instructor.


Upon registration, you will get a Zoom ID. You can ask your questions toward the end of the class.

    I had a wonderful time with my 25 year old son the other night at Mukti’s Kitchen. She’s a lovely lady and her food is beyond incredible! There were a bunch of flavorful dishes and each of us got to participate in the cooking which was fun.

    Mukti taught us so much about how to make the most of Indian cooking and because of that, I feel hooked! I can’t wait to get all the ingredients and get started.

    I highly recommend this class for people who want to learn how to make authentic delicious Indian food.

    I throughly enjoyed my time with Mukti and learned SO much about things I thought I already knew. I’ve had an Indian cooking class at the ICE in manhattan but it was taught by an Indian Guyanese, which makes a difference. Being Guyanese myself, I know how our cooking styles and ingredients are different and Mukti is the real deal. She explains all of the spices, the science behind techniques (I’m also a scientist and was unaware of some of the methods she used which I thought was super fascinating) and importance of using fresh, whole ingredients. She’s very attentive, and explains everything step by step. Everyone helps prepare the dishes and you taste as you cook. You experience the aromas and how the parched spices are meant to smell like prior to using them. I’ve used the same spices in my Indian cooking and there’s a distinct difference between how my food tastes and how Mukti’s tastes. I’m never going back to my old methods. Her techniques are key for Indian cuisine and if you want to learn authentic Indian food, you need to take this class. She also helped me regain my confidence in making aloo roti after so many failed attempts on my own. Everything was delicious. We had a group of 6 doing the class which I thought was perfect and the class was roughly 3.5 hours if you include eating. It’s a great class and I’d happily do it all again!
